Sol Cayo Largo Overview
Enjoying a pristine and secluded location on Cuba's longest key at the paradisiacal Cayo Largo del Sur, the Sol Cayo Largo is a fabulous All Inclusive resort , ideal for tranquil and peaceful getaways, incredible scuba diving experiences and romantic Cuba holidays in a virtually untouched island.
Most suited to couples, honeymooners, enthusiastic scuba divers and snorkellers, this peaceful retreat offers guests with a pristine environment and a crystal-clear ocean bottom, perfect for embarking in all sorts of marine adventures. Sitting facing 600 metres of cool white sands and never-ending beach, this hotel is also ideal for lazy beach bums just wanting to laze around and get away from it all.
Boasting a pretty collection of 296 guest rooms including 244 Standard rooms, 44 Standard Ocean View and 8 spacious Junior Suites, the Sol Cayo Largo provides guests with simple yet elegant accommodation with soft pastel colours and cool Caribbean design. All guest rooms come fully equipped with king-size beds or twin beds, satellite TV, telephone, mini-bar, hairdryer, umbrella, safety deposit box, balcony, air conditioning and ceiling fan.
The resort has 3 restaurants, one main buffet restaurant serving breakfast and dinner bufftet style, a beach restaurant sitting by the edge of the sea and offering casual lunches and a la carte dinners, and a gourmet restaurant serving delicious international food a la carte, for dinner only. For whiling away the hours while sipping beverages and munching on snacks the resort also has a cafeteria by the pool and 2 bars, one lobby bar and one by the beach.
While entertainment is limited and this is a fairly quiet resort, there is an animation team that operates during the day around the swimming pool area and nightime entertainment is provided in the form of dancing shows that take place after 10pm. And for guests in the mood for singing, there is also a Fun-Pub Karaoke with pool tables and small dance floor, also serving a wide array of national and international cocktails.
For more active and engaging activities the Sol Cayo Largo complex also comprises tennis courts and a fitness centre, a beach volleyball court, a mini football field, mini-bowling, archery, Yoga & Thai Chi, bicycles and all sorts of table games.
When it comes to water sports, guests staing here will be really spoilt for choice from water aerobics to water bicycles, canoeing catamaran, paddle, sailing boats, pool volleyball, windsurfing and scuba diving, all can be easily arranged. Sol Cayo Largo also provides its guests with a free shuttle service to Playa Sirena, where scuba diving excursions are arranged and guests can even book themselves a "Swimming with the Dolphins" experience.
